Hotels & Travel
Hotels
All participants are advised to book their hotel themselves. As the World Health Assembly (19-23 May, 2008) will be taking place two days after the World Health Professions Conference on Regulation, we advise you not to wait too long with making your booking. For more information on where to stay in Geneva, please see the Geneva
Tourism website.
Travel
For travellers arriving by plane, useful information can be found on the site of Geneva International Airport.
Visas and identity papers
For European residents travelling in Europe, an identity card is normally sufficient. However, some airlines require passports for certain destinations. It is therefore preferable to ask the airline for information directly. For non European residents please check the website of the Federal Office for Migration for an overview of identity papers and visa provisions for entry into Switzerland.
For other question about passports, identity cards and visas necessary for your trip, please contact your travel agency directly, or the Police de Sécurité Internationale (PSI). |
